Shifting Your Consciousness: Grief and Receptivity
Published: Fri, 01/17/20
Greetings ,
It's very common that whatever I am writing about shows up in
my life. This month it's been a family crisis that sent me back into old trauma, reactivity, and fear. I was feeling overwhelmed and my heart felt shriveled when a friend gently took me through body sensations until I could open and re-member the vastness that I am, that we all are.
I was feeling especially discouraged after the wonderful connections and talks during the IAM Symposium. I'd finally come out of the closet with my mystic connections
to the star beings (you can still listen to that interview)—then bam! My world fell apart.
Yet everything changes. Grief arises and passes away. Love arises and passes away. Like the lovely poster below—"Hold on to each other"—we can do just
that.
It's no surprise in today's world that grief overwhelms us. There's more and more suffering and chaos—threats of war, millions of animals burned
in the Australian fires, separation within families over politics, our own personal losses.
This newsletter (read on) offers you several ways to work with your grief and open your heart:
Experience vibrational sound healing and ceremony to release your grief and open your heart. Six month series with six wonderful healers in the North Bay Area, come to one or all.
Keep learning to expand beyond your "small self" into the stars and cosmos.
The more you can find ways to expand your experience of interconnectedness, the easier it will be to navigate the changes that lie ahead. May it be so!
The Benefits of Open-Heart Receptivity
Receptivity is like a permeable membrane in your energy field, allowing appreciation, love, caring, joy, and spontaneity
into your awareness. In contrast, lack of receptivity implies a barrier, a kind of wall around you. Which is it for you: walls or bridges?
If you are ready to fully absorb all the blessings that come your way, check it out and learn
five potent ways to develop your receptivity and openness.

Need Healing Support?
I've learned by experience that I only want to get help from people who live in their hearts, yet it's nearly impossible to
figure that out from written words. The better marketers people are, the more convincing they sound.
Listening to someone's voice/energy/vibrations is a more clear way to suss out whether they are heart-based, and whether you resonate with them.
If you're just exploring, this brief interview on the Mind-Body Radio Network will give
you a sense of the healing I do, who it serves, my passions as a mentor and shamanic guide, and what it's like to work with me. Listen here.
