I've just returned from a wonderful week of ceremony at a shamanic conference in British Columbia (see the short
film), and another two weeks in Haida Gwaii, northern islands inhabited for 10,000 years by the Haida people. We got to take two long boat trips to visit the ancient villages with their iconic, world-famous totem poles. We learned about Haida cultural resurgence and language revitalization. We had wonderful interaction and conversations with Haida elders about their animist
world. The water, land, ceremony, and people renewed and revitalized me.
All these experiences inspire me to write and teach about living from your heart.
The theme of living from your heart, this possibility, is cropping up everywhere. Q'ero prophesy predicted the
