Join us for a beautiful ceremony on New Year’s Eve. On the cusp of winter, returning light, and a full moon, we will co-create an Ayni despacho, a living mandala of our offerings.
Our focus will be on feeding spirit, hope, and connection: in ourselves, with the earth, and with water protectors everywhere. Your donation goes entirely to Standing Rock.
When you engage fully in this traditional Andean Ayni Despacho ceremony, the energy moves. You make
space for something new; you reconnect in ways that can carry you forward in these times of change.
You’ll feel the shifts reverberate vibrationally in your body and cells. You’ll experience change somatically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Creating this ceremony in reciprocity is a wonderful way of focusing your intent, giving back to the Earth and spirits, and being with your tribe. It is a gift to the universe.
When we give our offering to the fire, our intentions and prayers are carried into the cosmos on the smoke of
transmutation.
Despacho and Fire Ceremony 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM on Sunday, Dec. 31 at my home in Sonoma. Optional potluck and hang out afterwards, 4:30 on.
Bring:
- Your intent to release personal and world grief and loss.
- A mind-picture of the place you are most connected to on the earth.
- Your personal intent for the year ahead, and a commitment you want to make to the earth.
- A potluck dish to share.
- Your donation for
Standing Rock.
What is an Ayni despacho? It is a traditional Andean ceremony, a reciprocal offering to bring balance into our lives and relationships. The offering uses incense, seeds, sweets, kintus, and representations of all aspects of life, with intent, to help inspire and connect us within the web of
life.
A despacho transmutes energy. There is much heaviness in the world, and more to come. This ceremony is an energy-moving way to let it go, heal, and open your heart.
Within sacred
space your burdens become lighter, and you can be touched by the hand of Spirit. Within sacred space you experience the lightness of your being and the power of your connections.
I find Despacho ceremonies so beautiful and powerful that I have explored, guided, written about, and made them for more than 20 years. We've created
despachos on all the mountains of San Francisco Bay... made Chas'ka (Star) despachos around the world to call the star beings down to help us in these times...and use the ceremonies as a way of gathering tribe and community to move energy and make change.
