Greetings , The Equinox is a potent
time to harmonize and balance your internal energies with those of the earth. Days and nights are in balance. The vibrational harmony coming from the core of the earth lasts longer and longer as the poles shift, according to those who focus on Earth energies and ley lines. This means that it's not just the day of Equinox or Solstice that's powerful, but the week before and the week after. Seize the time! Gathering together helps us remember. Open. Grow our reciprocity and receptivity. It's an opportunity to drop into a different, expanded space. To leave distractions behind. And when we gather at a sacred site the energies and vibrations are that much stronger to help us shift and deepen.
Creating ceremony together with intent is a way of being in service. Giving back. Connecting with our deepest dreams. Putting aside distractions, relaxing, and opening into the beautiful cosmos we are such an intricate part of. Doing ceremony outside, on the land, where the spirits rise up to meet us and the ancestors cheer, creates a
profound connection you don't forget. Many of you are far from N. California so you can't join me. But you can still find allies. You can have fun imagining what's needed and how to do it. You can create your own simple ceremonies. That's what my friends and I did for many years before we found ancient traditions to learn from! If you are close
by, please join us at the exquisite Ring Mountain, a gem in plain sight, unknown even to locals in Marin who live nearby! I bring this favorite quote into my ceremonial work, even when I've got too much on my plate: "The cure for exhaustion is not rest, but wholeheartedness." ~David Stendal- Rast. It motivates me back into action, ceremony, service,
being—whatever I'm lovingly called to do. Are you wishing for motivation? Knowing you can do and be more? So take the leap: experience a coherent field and join one of our Earth-loving groups exploring ways to be light and love, receptive and reciprocal in our daily lives. Fall Equinox Ceremony for Balance: Star Despacho Join us for a beautiful Star Despacho ceremony of love and reciprocity on Ring Mountain (near Corte Madera, N. of San Francisco) Sept.18 Sunday, 10:30-2:30. It will be a magical day of shifting
energy and focusing our shared intent with other lovers of Earth and Cosmos. ...Our last despacho was at Summer Solstice on Mt. Tamalpais. Six weeks later, the Climate bill in the US was, amazingly, passed and signed. While we don't take credit, ceremonies do have a powerful affect on the world!... Our intent will be to feed spirit, hope, and connection: in ourselves, with the earth, and with the star beings and cosmic forces who support us. We're calling on them to help us meet these difficult times with grace and love. Imagine gazing at the sacred mountains of the Bay—Mt Tamalpais, Mt Diablo, San Bruno, and others—from an open space preserve in the midst of an urban world. Imagine seeing the Bay and San Francisco close, yet so far, from a hill golden with dried grasses and shaded by ancient trees. Imagine celebrating
the Equinox, a day of balance, at this spot. Imagine this place, a site of many, many ceremonies for centuries, being your ground and connection for the day. These are Miwok lands. This is where we'll gather on Sept. 18 to call the star beings down to help us in these troubled
times!
