As political will fails us at COP26, the alternative—transforming our consciousness to change our world—becomes ever more viable and essential.
We are not being called to make small shifts, rather to a complete transformation of our presence on this
earth. That requires living from our hearts, not just our minds. It asks that we develop coherence together. It calls us
to honor the interconnectedness and spirit in all beings. It means that even when technological "solutions" fail us, we’ll be empowering ourselves to create a harmonious, sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, and socially just human presence on this planet.
We can do this! Instead of dread, we can give in to passionate transformation! We are supported in this by all the living beings (who also want to survive) as well as our spirit helpers
from other dimensions.
I want to share a few of the threads that are reinforcing this calling and helping me weave the new fabric. I hope they inspire you as well!
On the first day of COP 26, I channeled this message:
Loving the earth and each other deeply. Jungle earth, mountain earth, rain traveling the globe, Coho spawning up the creeks...ancestors filing in, supporting us, all in this together. Their wisdom fills our hearts. Our love fills our hearts as we weave our connections across the planet. Our hearts are opening, opening to each other. We have been
given the gift of connection outside space-time, across dimensions, with all beings. Together we stand for humans, heart, and a thriving planet.
A dream came a few nights later, offering an inspiring example of a ceremony for coming together:
Some of my spiritual friends arrive at my house before I do. I get involved in setting up an elaborate centerpiece, finding a spoon for someone, hunting up the teapot (nothing is in its "correct" place). These are frustrating and fruitless logistical activities that distract
me from our intent of being together. More and more people arrive—some known from afar, some unknown, some dead—until there are at least 50 spiritually-minded folks together.
Someone begins a blessing with one word: "Politics." We pass an object with some anointing oil, each person blessing it in her own way. The feeling is of coherence, through inviting and respecting each other's "doing-it-in-our-own-way." We've come together from disparate
traditions, and what flows is our ability to focus together harmoniously.
Finally, my drumming group was invited to journey with our Aboriginal sister circle to Glasgow. After creating sacred space, we began making an altar in a central room. Everyone was invited to place an object on the altar that represents Home. It was gleeful, fun, meaningful—as participants inside and out placed their home objects on the altar, the third thing happened. We understood what unites us all over the globe. We
were creating a new Earth by bringing something from home, by loving our home, by sharing that deep love with each other. The altar became self-sustaining, fed by the above and below.
Someone asked spirit, "What can be done about the fear?" The spirits replied, "It's not fear that's the issue. When you (humans) find home, all will emerge."
